Monitoring and Inspection by UAS
The unique advantage of an UAS is the ability to fly to high elevation, survey from bird-eye view and enter space and area which inaccessible to feet or manned-aerial-vehicle. With the help of UAS, Clients can easily conduct various operations, with the fellow functions.
Photo and Video Records
Aerial photos taken by UAS at high elevation provides a better view than taking photos at ground level.GPS positioning system allows the same location and angle can be taken at a certain time interval to show a time elapsed image, which is especially useful for managing projects.
Area Mapping
Create map by taking photos along a designated aerial corridor and facing the ground vertically. The photos are then combined with suitable overlapping to create 2D high resolution map.
Elevated Structure & Remote Locations Inspections
UAS can be elevated to high level and conduct inspections for area normally unreachable.Large scale structure, including viaduct piers, building façades, towers, ceiling of cavern, seawalls, etc. are often difficult, dangerous to conduct visual inspection. It would be preferable to be firstly inspected and located by UAS before sending staffs.
Façade Inspection
Traditional Inspection of the façade of a high-rise building is difficult, costly and require special equipment (i.e. gondolas), which is is very inefficient.UAS substitute the manned-gondolas by simply fly along the façade, check for any cracks or loose panels.Photos can be combined to generate a 3D model for easy identification of the location of the defect.
Wildlife Monitoring
UAS is capable to fly continuously at 50kph for 20 minutes to chase and monitoring wildlife. Much smaller and quieter than manned-aerial vehicle, minimize the disturbance to animal in a close range. Able to equip thermal imaging or night vision imaging for searching wildlife at the sea surface or at night.
